Live Life TODAY...

The dawn of each new day can become the beginning of a new life!
That is why I let go of all my yesterdays,
And make the conscious decision that today shall be different,
From any day I have ever lived before.

I now know that my character is my fate and my destiny;
That's why I now take charge of my life.
I am responsible for everything I do, say and think;
For who and what I am;

What I make out of every gift that You have given to me,
My beloved Mother/Father Creator.
You put us on this Earth to learn,
To evolve and grow into responsible beings.

And You entrusted the key to our fate into everybody's own hands.
As I feel honoured by your loving trust in me,
I now will myself to change, to become more loving and considerate,
Towards myself and everything that is in my world.

This is my conscious decision and my promise to You.
Grant me, o great and loving Mother/Father, for each and every day,
The gift of Your strength and wisdom
So that I will no longer give in to the instincts of my lower self,
But learn to rise above them,
Thus becoming the master of myself and my destiny,
Instead of remaining its helpless victim.

I know that with Your help and guidance,
I can overcome anything, even my worst enemy: myself.
And I am aware that the splendour of the future is not hidden in tomorrow;

But is alive in today and the eternal dwells in every precious moment
Of the here and now, which Your Grace is granting me.
Thank you for helping me to become aware that it is always now,
Never yesterday or tomorrow;
That tomorrow is an illusion which never comes;
That today and now are the only realities we have;
And that today is my day for action.

As I once willed myself into being,
I now will myself to make each day into a good one.
No matter what happens, help me to look for the good
In all people and situations, namely what I can learn from each one.
And if all anyone can teach me is how not to behave,
I shall know that this too is a gift that Your love is granting me.
Thus I shall gladly learn this lifetime's finest lessons.

This way I shall learn to love everything
That is in every precious moment of each new day,
Knowing that it is a gift from You.

Help me, Mother/Father, not to waste any of my gifts and talents,
And to become ever more aware on a deep, inner level
That You are as much in me, as I am in You;
And that it is Your living Spirit who

Moves through everything in my world, and all worlds.
With all my heart and soul, with my whole being,
Let me sing the praises of Your great wisdom and love,
Now and forever …
